Field Engineer

About The Position

UVeye is looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join our Operations Team.

As a Field Engineer you will take part of the company's products installation and implementation all around the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site surveys at customer sites in order to prepare installation teams.
  • Plan Installation requirements both from UVeye and customers side.
  • Perform low and high level site designs: Civil works planning, Network and connectivity requirements and management of manpower during the installation.
  • Perform annual maintenance for our systems (Mechanics, Hardware, Software).
  • Train and prepare installation teams for our customers & resellers.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Delivery Teams in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a Field Engineer or similar position, installation and deployment on a multidisciplinary product.
  • Experience with Hands on installation (civil works, wiring, electric connections, mechanical assembly).
  • Experience participating in face-to-face meetings with clients, in a technical role.
  • Experience working with different departments (such as Sales, Operations, Product, R&D).
  • Ability to write professional documents (project specifications, manuals, etc.).
  • Experience with 2D/3D drawings software (AutoCad / Solid Edge).
  • Good knowledge with operating systems (Linux, Ubunto, Windows).
  • Basic Network knowledge and skills (connectivity, protocols).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fluent English, other languages are a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel abroad as necessary.
  • Certified electrician degree - Advantage.
  • Previous experience in product demonstration and training – Advantage.

Mechanical Engineer

UVeye is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will design mechanical sub assemblies and system level, according to specifications and regulation requirements:

  • Calculations of strength, motion, and thermal performance.
  • Prototypes integration and verification activities.
  • Design for safety, quality and reliability, manufacturing and customer support
  • Involvement in all design stages: from design requirements through proof of concept to release for production.
  • Work with subcontractors and multi-disciplinary project team.
  • Service Support - Field issues diagnostic and solutions proposing and implementation.
  • Product development and continues engineering: Cost reduction, Transfer to production, lead technical investigations, write technical documentations.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design of Multi-Disciplinary Systems.
  • Mechanical Engineering / Practical Engineering Degree.
  • Experience in the design of Opto-Mechanical systems, Electrical Packaging & Production Jigs.
  • Design for simplicity, Cost and Manufacturing.
  • Experience in working with subcontractors both local and international.
  • Experience in Transfer to Production.
  • Proven Experience in SolidWorks and/or Autodesk Inventor.
  • PLM systems - Advantage.

Deep Learning Algorithms Engineer

UVeye is looking for a highly creative Deep Learning Algorithms Engineer to develop and research new applications of Computer Vision and Deep Learning technologies for our Automotive products.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Computer Vision algorithms in the following fields: Anomaly detection, 3D from 2D, generative models, semantic segmentation, object detection and classification, tracking.
  • Create Proof of concept for new products and technology.
  • Evaluate and benchmark different algorithms on unique proprietary datasets.
  • Collaborate with team members to define future technology and features.
  • Have a lot of fun!

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of industry experience in development and productization of Deep Learning Algorithms.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience working on major Vision problems in the fields of Detection, Classifications and Segmentation.
  • Experience with Python/C/C++.
  • Experience with Major Deep Learning Frameworks (such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Relevant Degree.
  • Excellent English. 
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Comfortable in unexplored territory.
  • Agility and multitasking.

DevOps Lead

UVeye is looking for a DevOps Lead, to join its Homeland Security (HLS) division. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining all CI/CD processes in the division, various builds and the deployment of the company's HLS product. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop & maintain product’s CI/CD process, deployment, architecture, tools and technologies.
  • Develop build packages for cloud and on-prem environment.
  • Maintain QA and Development environments.
  • Serve as an expert on our system’s installation for debugging & production.
  • Have a lot of fun!

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience building CI/CD processes; working cross-development teams and with different build structures (Python, Node, Angular, C++).
  • At least 2 years experience with Linux.
  • Experience with Bash and python scripts.
  • Experience with build and deployment pipeline tools, such as: Git, Bitbucket, Nexus / Artifactory, or similar.
  • Ability to deal with complex configurations.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration such as Docker and Docker Swarm / Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with distributed storage systems (such as: S3, minIO).
  • Experience with Configuration Management and automation tools such as: Jenkins, Ansible, etc. 
  • Excellent Hebrew and English.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of all SW development aspects in an Innovative environment combining Algorithms, SW and HW.
  • Manage an awesome team of multidisciplinary engineers in an agile environment.
  • Deliver high quality SW, efficiently and systematically.
  • Be instrumental in defining architecture of next generation products.
  • Build and maintain SW development methodology – Code reviews, testing development, etc.
  • Collaborate with department management, Scrum masters, team members, SQA and field operations.
  • Participate in selection of tools, technology platforms, technical evaluation of 3rd party vendor products.
  • Innovate and integrate new processes and/or technology to significantly add value to UVeye.

Requirements

  • B.Sc in computer science
  • At least 3 years of experience as a SW Team Leader.
  • Deep expertise with at least one of the following – Angular/Node, C++, Python.
  • Experience working with Cloud technologies: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, etc.
  • Able to mentor teams in multiple disciplines (angular/node, C++, Python, Cloud).
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary high-tech company.
  • Deep understanding of data flow (e.g. from camera to cloud).
  • Hands on work in defining system architecture – Big advantage.
  • Work experience both in a large mature company and in a startup - Advantage.
  • Experience working in companies with Machine Learning / Computer Vision technologies– Advantage
  • Proactive and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with fast paced deliveries and changing requirements.
