About The Position

As our Buyer, you will support R&D, manufacturing operations and indirect procurement needs and have the skills to successfully collaborate with internal and external business partners. The new buyer will oversee the planner and WH management.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Engineering to determine best sourcing options for NPI or R&D parts and be the focal contact between Engineering and suppliers on technical matters.
  • Balance both tactical executions with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects.
  • Perform total cost analysis on purchases or suppliers, new and existing; and review cost reduction activities
  • Review MRP, initiate and obtain Request for Quote, process Purchase Orders, follow-up on delivery, maintain records, and reports.
  • Proactive problem solver, that is tenacious in nature and solution oriented.
  • Effectively interact and collaborate with all departments to attain results.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience of sourcing and purchasing precision parts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • Understanding of the advantages and limitations of different manufacturing processes, including various types of casting, machining, sintering, welding, brazing, anodizing, and molding.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
  • Highly motivated, organized, with a positive “Whatever it takes” attitude.
  • Remains calm in stressful situations and is highly accountable.
  • Proven results negotiating with suppliers to improve costs, reduce lead times, and quality.
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel Skills.
  • ERP experience - Priority is a MUST.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, own tasks and be flexible regarding changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

UVeye is looking for a Help Desk Specialist to join our Operations Department. As a Help Desk Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization's employees computing environment, installing, diagnosing, repairing and upgrading desktop hardware and software. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer operating systems, software, and hardware.
  • Provide support for Active Directory, G Suite, Office 365, Atlassian products and Okta environments.
  • Responsible for onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Responsible for the office’s IT asset management.
  • Proactively identify trends in user issues to assist in continual service improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 2 year experience in Help Desk/IT support-related roles.
  • Knowledgeable in Windows and macOS environments - Linux is an advantage.
  • Basic familiarity with networking and protocols such as - TCP\IP, DHCP and DNS.
  • Familiarity with hardware components (Laptops and PCs).
  • Excellent communication skills and a service oriented attitude.
  • Fluent written and spoken English. 
  • Familiarity in ESXi and Vsphere management - Advantage.

Duties include a specific focus on the materials and goods required in the production phase, ensuring the working space is properly maintained in order to have optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate suppliers or quality, timeliness and match according to goals.

 Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop and implement Computer Vision algorithms in the following fields: Anomaly detection, 3D from 2D, generative models, semantic segmentation, object detection and classification, tracking.
  • Create Proof of concept for new products and technology.
  • Evaluate and benchmark different algorithms on unique proprietary datasets.
  • Collaborate with team members to define future technology and features.
  • Mange Deep Learning and Computer Vision Algorithm team.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience managing an Algorithm Team.
  • At least 5 years of industry experience as an Algorithm Developer.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience working on major Vision problems in the fields of Detection, Classifications and Segmentation.
  • Experience with Major Deep Learning Frameworks (such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Experience with Python/C/C++.

Requirements
