UVeye is a Computer Vision company that develops automated inspection systems for vehicles, powered by artificial intelligence and proprietary hardware.
UVeye is active both in the Automotive and the Homeland Security sectors and supports over 17 different use cases. The company has developed three different products all connected to one cloud-based platform.
UVeye’s systems have been installed at over 100 sites, including vehicle manufacturers, rental companies, logistical centers, dealerships, energy, financial, diplomatic, and other sensitive security facilities.
The company was co-founded by Amir and Ohad Hever in 2016. In 2019, Toyota Tsusho and Volvo led a $31 million Series B, joining W.R. Berkley, F.I.T Ventures, and other previous investors to bring UVeye to a total of $35 million raised in venture capital funding.
UVeye’s deep learning AI platform analyzes high-quality, multi-angle images to identify any issues and create objective documentation of the vehicle as it moves from point to point along the Automotive Lifecycle.
Automotive Use Cases:
Inspecting the vehicle undercarriage can be a challenge for checkpoint security teams. Difficult to access, the undercarriage is an ideal spot for adversaries to hide illicit materials such as explosives, weapons, and drugs.
