Assistant Controller

About The Position

UVeye is looking for Assistant Controller to join our Finance Team. In this role, you will be supporting all the accounting and financial aspects to ensure high level of controls and accuracy of the Company’s financials.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the process of closing the reporting periods (monthly, quarterly, and annually) under the US GAAP.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist in preparing the annual tax reports.
  • Communicating with the audit firm.
  • Review payroll reports.
  • Verifying proper implementation of the company’s processes and policies.
  • Assist in documentation of internal controls.

Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience (Big4 full internship, Specializing in the High-Tech industry - an advantage).
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and consolidated reports according to US GAAP- Must.
  • Good knowledge of Israel Tax and tax reporting experience.

UVeye is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR Team. In this role, you will manage the full recruitment life-cycle, partner with hiring managers to ensure a fast & efficient recruiting process, while always keeping candidate experience top of mind.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full life cycle of the hiring process for all UVeye’s departments, including CV screen, phone interviews, in person HR interviews and decision making about new hires with hiring managers.
  • Working closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, advice and determine the most accurate candidate profile and the right sourcing strategy.
  • Providing guidance on hiring practices.
  • Working closely with interviewers, train and guide them through the interview process and decision-making process.
  • Sourcing and engaging potential candidates through different resources, such as social platforms, professional networks and internal databases. 
  • Creating and maintaining an excellent candidate experience at every step of the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and agencies.

Requirements

As our Buyer, you will support R&D, manufacturing operations and indirect procurement needs and have the skills to successfully collaborate with internal and external business partners. The new buyer will oversee the planner and WH management.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Engineering to determine best sourcing options for NPI or R&D parts and be the focal contact between Engineering and suppliers on technical matters.
  • Balance both tactical executions with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects.
  • Perform total cost analysis on purchases or suppliers, new and existing; and review cost reduction activities
  • Review MRP, initiate and obtain Request for Quote, process Purchase Orders, follow-up on delivery, maintain records, and reports.

  • Effectively interact and collaborate with all departments to attain results.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience of sourcing and purchasing precision parts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • Understanding of the advantages and limitations of different manufacturing processes, including various types of casting, machining, sintering, welding, brazing, anodizing, and molding.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.

  • Remains calm in stressful situations and is highly accountable.
  • Proven results negotiating with suppliers to improve costs, reduce lead times, and quality.

  • Configuration and management of customers .

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ prior experience as Customer Support Engineer.

Field Service Technician

UVeye is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Operations Team. In this role you will take part in the company's products installation, implementation, and service all around the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Systems installations and service include:
  1. Civil works.
  2. Mechanical assembly and integration.
  3. Electrical wiring (Low voltage).
  4. Network connectivity and wiring.
  5. Manpower and contractors supervision.
  • Customers training for system operation (both user interface and physical layout).
  • Training local contractors for UVeye’s system installation process.
  • Generate 2D drawings on AutoCAD for future installations.
  • Work closely with Project & Account manager in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform site surveys at customer sites in order to assure site readiness.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Field Engineer / Field Technician or similar position.
  • Experience with installation and deployment of a multidisciplinary product (Hardware & Software).
  • Experience with hands on type of work (civil works, network and electrical wiring, and mechanical assemblies).
  • Experience with AutoCAD / Autodesk software (both generate and reading drawings).
  • Willingness to travel for customer sites around the country (up to 100% of the time).
  • Ability to write installation and maintenance procedures.
  • Knowledge with Linux based systems.
  • Basic Networking knowledge.
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Driver's license.
  • Fluent English.

 Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop and implement Computer Vision algorithms in the following fields: Anomaly detection, 3D from 2D, generative models, semantic segmentation, object detection and classification, tracking.
  • Create Proof of concept for new products and technology.
  • Evaluate and benchmark different algorithms on unique proprietary datasets.
  • Collaborate with team members to define future technology and features.
  • Mange Deep Learning and Computer Vision Algorithm team.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience managing an Algorithm Team.
  • At least 5 years of industry experience as an Algorithm Developer.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience working on major Vision problems in the fields of Detection, Classifications and Segmentation.
  • Experience with Major Deep Learning Frameworks (such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Experience with Python/C/C++.
  • Relevant Degree.
  • Excellent English.
