Amir Hever Named “AutoTech CEO of the Year” in 2022

UVeye CEO, Amir Hever, was named AutoTech CEO of the Year in the third annual AutoTech Breakthrough Awards.

Autotech Awards is an independent committee selecting BREAK THROUGH products, solutions, and companies within the crowded AutoTech market since 2020. Some of the categories mentioned in the award include Industry Leadership, Connected Car, Electric Cars, Automotive Cyber Security, Car Sharing, and Autonomous technologies. UVeye’s Amir Hever has been selected out of 1500 nominees as an industry-leading CEO. The 2021 winner for this award was CEO of Carro, Singapore’s biggest used car marketplace. Other notable winners from previous years include Mercedes Benz, Geotab, Solera and Aurora Labs

In 2016, Amir Hever Co-founded UVeye with COO, Ohad Hever, as a computer-vision company, beginning with a focus on Homeland Security and transitioning to pitching UVeye systems as an “MRI scanner for vehicles,” using only the best camera technology available combined with self-learning AI. The company has installed systems in over 200 sites includig dealerships, auctions, and fleets all across the world. During 2022 both Volvo Cars and General Motors have announced national programs to incentivize their dealer networks to install UVeye for both service and used car applications.

AutoTech Breakthrough Awards recognizes Hever’s ability to realize all of the capabilities UVeye’s technology has to offer the automotive industry. This, paired with Hever’s history as a leader in the technology industry are just some of the attributes that make him such an effective leader at UVeye and in the automotive technology industry.

This award follows other industry awards from companies such as Gartner and Frost & Sullivan during the last few years recognizing UVeye as a leader in the automatic vehicle inspection field.
