“When I came across UVeye’s technology, I was genuinely intrigued. It was as if I was standing in a crowded room and then caught the eye of an exquisitely beautiful woman who entranced me.”
“At CES, there were so many booths showcasing the latest innovative technologies, but few caught my eye,” said one of the individuals at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
“When I came across UVeye’s technology, I was genuinely intrigued. It was as if I was standing in a crowded room, where all of the people looked, dressed and spoke the same, and then caught the eye of an exquisitely beautiful woman who entranced me. UVeye, for me, was that woman and became the highlight of the conference.”
UVeye has indeed become an integral part of the booming trend in electronic solutions for the automotive industry. UVeye, or “under vehicle eye,” provides high-end solutions for automatic external inspections of vehicles, using proprietary hardware combined with machine learning and computer-vision algorithms.
While most exhibitors in the automotive industry presented a wide variety of technological gadgets that are placed on the body of the car, including sensors, radars, cyber security softwares, voice assistant mechanisms, and devices to enhance autonomous vehicles, UVeye was the only exhibitor that presented an external safety solution for vehicles. As cars pass through UVeye’s scanners, the technology enables users to automatically detect and identify anomalies, modifications or foreign objects from all sides of any vehicle, in a matter of seconds. This technology is beneficial for the security industry, in order to detect bombs and drug smuggling, as well as the automotive industry, in order to expose oil leakages, scratches, damage to the tires, brakes, and exhaust system, as well as any other potentially hazardous mechanical issues.
“We received tremendous interest from car manufacturers, tire manufacturers, insurance agents, car fleet managers, rental car companies and the international press,” said UVeye’s VP of Sales Ido Eylon.
“Our live demos were particularly in demand and enabled people to get familiar with our technological capabilities for themselves. This enabled them to not only understand UVeye’s technology in a theoretical way, but in a practical way. They were able to see how UVeye’s automatic vehicle inspections are used in real life and provide solutions that work.”
“Top executives from Car manufacturers and Tire manufacturers were interested in our technology,” added David Oren, UVeye’s CSO. “In a room where the most innovative technological advances in the world were on display, our technology truly shined.”
UVeye is indeed changing the future of vehicle inspection by providing automatic inspection systems throughout the entire lifecycle of the vehicle — from the moment its parts are placed on the conveyor belt to the time it hits the road.Tags: Automotive, CES, innovation, technology, UVeye, vehicle safety
